The CARES Act, the PPP and the Government Contractor
As the COVID-19 pandemic continues to escalate across the country, businesses have vested interest in the evolving state of the Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security (CARES) Act and the Paycheck Protection Program (PPP). For government contractors, there are certain stipulations — like Section 3610 of the CARES Act — affecting how they’ll conduct business in the time of COVID-19.
In this month’s webinar from GovCon365, we’ll be getting our finger on the pulse of all new provisions for government contractors. Joining us is Bill Walter, the Managing Director in Government Contracting Advisory practice at Dixon Hughes Goodman LLP. Mr. Walter will provide sound guidance regarding the current state of the CARES Act (esp. Sect. 3610) and the stipulations of the PPP to help guide government contractors through the federal demands of our new normal.
